Safety is a top priority. We were given a tour of the construction site, and everyone was provided with the appropriate protective clothing. Naturally, the excavator was fascinating.

Future is coming!
In November 2023, demolition work on the old children’s hospital began to make space for the new Digital Heart Center and the Informatics for Life Institute. The giant crane is now taking down the last building.
IFL at DGK eCardiology
This year, Informatics for Life members once again participated in the ecardiology section of the DGK Annual Conference. In engaging workshops, they demonstrated the latest developments in wearables, AI, and augmented reality in medicine. They were supported by RoboDog, who captured everyone’s hearts.
